Wristband (cotton sweatband) is one of our best sellers. Some keywords, like “Sports sweatband”, “Sports sweatbands”, “wrist sweatband”, “sports wrist bands”, “sweatband” can be ranked in the first few pages on Google. Since it’s really a good product, and I believe more customers really need them, you know, we only sell it at $0.92 and our competitors mostly at $3 or $5, so we want to do better SEO.

“Neuromancer”, by William Gibson, is said to be one of the sources which inspired the Matrix trilogy (the word “matrix” is actually used in the book). I’ve read it and there are certain similarities, but it might be just because William Gibson “officially” started what we call the cyberpunk genre today.

I’ll leave the Wikipedia link about it if you want to read more, but the Matrix trilogy was mostly based on a huge number of religious conceptions, books, Japanese animation and even western movies.

Gothic Movement aestetics and Romantism’s Principles

I’m not sure if you’re talking about the medieval Gothic movement, or the current subculture, but in a nutshell, here it is. The Gothic architectural and artistic style that started in Europe around 1100 was seen as naturalistic by the Romantics in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Romantics idealized Gothic architecture as being rational and natural, two of the Enlightenment’s greatest ideals. This was an oversimplification of Gothic art and architecture, and more of a response to the overblown art of the Rococo and Baroque styles than anything else. The modern Gothic subculture is a extension of the Romantic ideals, and thus it resurrected the Gothic name.

The one field of study that seems to always be omitted when the subject of artificial intelligence comes up is psychology.

Let us look at this logically. “Artificial” means man made. That is pretty simple and straight forward. “Intelligence?” That sounds like a psychological issue to me.

Another term for artificial intelligence is “Machine Learning.” Would that not imply a study of the process of learning? How do we learn? What stages are there to the education process? These are questions for a person that studies psychology.

The study of artificial intelligence should bring all of the areas listed in the other answers and psychology together. Using the fields listed in the other answers to recreate the processes used in the psyche, and you will have artificial intelligence. Right?

I prefer to watch my local channel 7 in Los angeles (KABC) for my local news. Atleast 3 times in every hour - some ‘news story’ gets mentioned where the tv anchors have to make an announcement that Disney is the parent compnay of KABC.

Why?

KABC will disclaim that Disney owns them to be up front on a story regarding its parent company Disney, so they are being honest in that there may or may not be a conflict of interest reporting on their owners, Disney. This is done to avoid the perception of bias had they chosen not to disclaim Disney ownership.
